Urban Hoops is a youth basketball initiative based in Kisumu, Kenya, dedicated to empowering young people through sports, mentorship, and life skills development.
Every day, talented young athletes train with limited facilities and resources. Our vision is to build a safe, accessible basketball court and training center where youth can develop their skills, stay active, and pursue opportunities both on and off the court.
We are raising KES 5,000,000 to:
Construct a quality basketball court
Build a training and development facility
Purchase basketball equipment and training gear
Support coaching and youth development programs
Create a safe space for community events and mentorship
This project will impact hundreds of young people by providing a place to learn, grow, compete, and build confidence. Through basketball, we aim to promote discipline, teamwork, leadership, and positive community engagement.
